Tronic Electric Insect Killer Lamp, 10W UV-A, Malaria Protection

Our review

This Tronic lamp is an indoor insect killer that uses UV-A light to attract flying insects and a 10-watt electrical element to kill them on contact. Tronic describes it as efficient and eco-friendly, with a 100% insect-killing rate and a build aimed at malaria protection. It is meant for indoor spaces, and the brand lists homes, restaurants, kitchens, cafes and hospitals among suitable settings. That range tells you it is aimed at people who want continuous background control rather than a one-off spray: a household dealing with mosquitoes near sleeping or eating areas, a cafe or restaurant kitchen where flies are a nuisance, or a clinic waiting area where insects need to be kept down. Before buying, think about the size and layout of the room you want to cover, since placement near where insects enter matters more than the lamp itself, and check how you will mount or position it so it is not directly above food preparation or where children can reach it. Compare it with other electric killers by looking at how insects are disposed of, how easy the unit is to clean, and whether the light type suits the insects you actually have; UV-A attracts flying insects, not crawling ones. If you mainly need mosquito protection around a bed, a lamp like this works differently from a topical repellent or a treated net, so decide which approach fits your routine. The listing gives no further specifications, so confirm details on Sokonia before ordering.
