Kenwood BLP30 Blender 450W 1.6L with 2 Speeds and Pulse

Our review

The Kenwood BLP30 is a countertop blender built around a 450W motor and a 1.6-litre jug, with two speed settings and a pulse function for short bursts of blending. That combination points to a straightforward machine for everyday kitchen tasks: smoothies, soups, sauces and similar jobs where you want control rather than a long list of preset programmes. It should suit a small household or a single user who blends regularly but not in large batches, and who prefers simple dial-style operation over touch panels and app features.
Before buying, think about what the 1.6L capacity means for your portions, and whether two speeds plus pulse give you the control you need for the textures you make most often. It also helps to check the jug material and how the lid and blades are cleaned, since those details affect daily use more than motor wattage alone. Compare it with other 400 to 500W blenders of similar capacity, and with higher-powered models if you crush ice or blend tough ingredients often. The BLP30 is available on Sokonia.
