Tronic Single Socket with USB, 13A
TSh 9,000
Our review
This is a single 13-amp socket from Tronic that also carries USB charging, so one wall position can serve both a plug-in appliance and a phone or similar device. The square-edged face has a smooth, shining finish, which the maker says makes maintenance and replacement easier if the unit is damaged, and it is described as safe and durable for appliances. It suits anyone wiring or refreshing a bedroom, office or rental where outlet space is tight, and buyers who prefer a straightforward, easy-to-clean faceplate. Before ordering, check the mounting box size and the wiring in your wall, and confirm the USB output suits your devices, since no electrical specifications are listed here. Compare with a plain single socket if you do not need USB, or a double socket if you run several appliances together. Available on Sokonia.
