Tronic Big Button 2 Gang 2 Way Switch, White

Our review

This is a white Tronic switch with two gangs and two-way wiring, finished with smooth edges and large buttons. Two-way means it can be used where a light is controlled from more than one position, such as at the top and bottom of a staircase or at two doors into the same room. The big button design suits people who want an easy, positive press, including older users or anyone fitting out a modern home or office where small rocker switches feel fiddly. Tronic also notes that bell push switches are traditionally used on a front door but can appear elsewhere in a project, so this range can be carried through a building for a consistent look. Before buying, confirm how many gangs and ways your wiring needs, check the box depth and wall box size will take the plate, and decide whether white matches your other fittings. Compare with slimmer or screwless plates if appearance matters most, and with standard-size switches if the large buttons are not a priority. No specifications are listed here, so verify the electrical rating and terminal layout on the packaging before installation, and have a qualified electrician fit it.
