This is a short coupler that lets you join two cables ending in the familiar IEC C13 plug, the three-pin connector used on many desktop computers, monitors, printers and similar equipment. It is not a travel plug and it does not change voltage; it simply bridges a C13 plug into a C13 socket. It suits someone extending a power lead, tidying a rack, or connecting a device to a longer C13 cord already on hand.
Before ordering, confirm both ends are genuinely C13, since C13 and C14 look similar but mate differently. Check the current drawn by your equipment stays within the 10A rating and the voltage within 100-250V. The body is fireproof ABS with copper contacts, which is worth noting for warm-running gear.
