This is a 60cm mason's level from Ingco, built around a heavy-duty cast aluminum body that tapers for stiffness without excess weight. At 790g it is light enough to hold one-handed on a wall but solid enough to feel deliberate. The bottom and front surfaces are finely milled, which matters because those are the faces you actually seat against block, brick or render. Ingco rates accuracy at 0.5mm/m, so over the full 60cm you are working within a tight tolerance for general masonry and blockwork.
The detail that sets it apart from a plain box level is the shock-absorbing rubber strike pads and end caps. Masons tap a level against courses to nudge blocks into line, and those repeated trowel blows are what kill ordinary levels, knocking the vial out of true. If you lay block, brick or stone, or you are a tiler or plasterer checking plumb and level on site, this is the kind of tool that suits the work.
