Ingco Steel Measuring Tape 5m x 19mm Metric & Inch HSMT39519
TSh 10,000
Our review
This is a compact steel measuring tape from Ingco, model HSMT39519, with a 5 metre blade that is 19mm wide and marked in both metric and inch. The 19mm width matters because a wider blade extends further before it buckles, which helps when measuring across a room alone. The single button controls the lock and retraction, and the cover is made of ABS plastic with a plastic hanger for pegboard or hook storage.
It suits carpenters, tailors working on larger pieces, electricians, and anyone doing home repairs who wants both measurement systems on one tape. Before buying, check whether 5 metres covers your typical runs; longer tapes exist but are bulkier to carry. Also confirm you prefer a manual button over an auto-lock mechanism, since the two behave differently in use. Compare blade width and coating against other tapes in this class, as those affect standout and wear.
