Decakila Digital Kitchen Scale KMTT091W, 5kg Capacity, 1g Precision

Our review

This Decakila scale is a compact digital model for everyday cooking and baking, weighing from 2g up to 5000g in 1g divisions and switching between grams and ounces. The tare function lets you reset to zero with a bowl or container on the platform, which matters when you are adding flour, sugar or spices in stages. It runs on two AAA batteries and shows a low-voltage warning before power runs out, so you are not caught mid-recipe. It suits home bakers who want finer control than a mechanical scale offers, and anyone portioning ingredients or coffee. Before buying, think about the 1g division: if you regularly weigh tiny amounts like yeast or salt, a 0.1g jeweller's scale is more precise, while this one is better for larger batches. Check that the 5kg maximum covers your heaviest mixing bowl, and note the stated working range of -0 to +40, so keep it away from very hot surfaces. Compare against similar 5kg kitchen scales on battery type, tare behaviour and whether the display stays readable under a large bowl. Available on Sokonia.
