Decakila Kitchen Scale Electronic 5kg Plastic KMTT012B

Our review

This Decakila kitchen scale is a compact plastic unit with a 5kg maximum capacity and a 1g readout, so it handles everything from yeast and spices to flour for a large bake. The LCD shows values in grams, cups, ounces, pounds or millilitres, and the ON/OFF/Tare key lets you zero the display before adding each ingredient. It powers off on its own and shows a low-voltage warning when the battery runs down. It suits home bakers and everyday cooks who want one scale for both small and bulk measurements. Before buying, think about the bowl or container you will weigh into, since the platform size is not stated, and note the stated working range of 5 to 60 degrees. Compare with similar 5kg digital scales on readability, unit options and whether they include a Tare function, which this one does. Available on Sokonia.
