Tronic Cutting Pliers, 190mm, Black & Red Rubber Grip

Our review

These Tronic cutting pliers are a general-purpose hand tool for anyone who needs to snip wire or trim nails around the home, workshop or garden. The 190mm length gives reasonable leverage for a tool of this size, and the aluminium body with a rubber grip is meant to keep the handle comfortable during repeated cuts. Because the listing only states that they cut wire and nails, treat them as light to medium-duty cutters rather than something for hardened steel or thick cable. Before buying, check the jaw type and whether the cutting edge is hardened, since that determines what the pliers can handle. Compare with similar 190mm cutters on grip material, jaw design and warranty length. A one-year warranty is stated, which is worth noting when weighing options.
