Philips Hand Mixer 280W 5 Speeds HR3704 with Dough Hooks and Strip Beaters

Our review

This is a corded Philips hand mixer rated at 280W, running on 220-240V, with five speeds and two attachments: dough hooks for kneading, mixing and whisking, and strip beaters. It comes in black, measures roughly 186 x 84 x 154 mm, and has a 1.2 m cord with a clip for tidy storage. A large eject button releases the beaters with one touch, which matters when your hands are sticky.
It suits home bakers who want a light, compact tool for cakes, batters, whipped cream and lighter doughs, and who prefer a hand mixer over a bulky stand model. Before buying, think about what you mix most: heavy bread dough is hard work for any hand mixer, so a stand mixer may serve you better if you bake dense loaves often. Check that your kitchen outlets match 220-240V, and confirm which attachments and speed settings you need. Compare cord length, attachment type and eject design against other hand mixers in the same class.
