It suits someone who mostly blends small batches: frothing hot or cold milk for cappuccinos, lattes, espressos and hot chocolate, or whipping cream in seconds. Before buying, think about what you actually blend. A stick blender is convenient for drinks and soft mixtures in the supplied cup, but it is not a substitute for a full jug blender if you regularly crush ice or handle large volumes. Check that the detachable rod and whip are the parts you will use, and confirm the cup size fits your usual servings. Compared with other hand blenders, the useful questions are motor power, whether the shaft detaches for rinsing, and whether a cup is included at all.
