Frigidaire Stand Mixer 1200W 8L Stainless Steel Bowl FD5128

Our review
This Frigidaire stand mixer is built around a 1200W motor and an 8-litre stainless steel bowl, with six speed levels you can adjust to match the job. The capacity and power point it towards households that bake in larger batches, or towards anyone who regularly works with stiff dough for bread as well as lighter cake and pastry batters. The stainless steel bowl is the practical part to note, since it is the piece you will be cleaning after every session. Before deciding, think about where it will live, because a bowl this size takes up counter or cupboard space, and check that the attachments and bowl fit the way you expect. Compared with smaller mixers of this type, the main trade-off is capacity and mixing muscle against footprint and weight. If you mostly whip small quantities, a compact model may be easier to handle; if you mix dough often, the larger bowl is the reason to consider this one. It is available on Sokonia.
