Decakila Pasta Server KMTT043B — 5.8cm Nylon & Stainless Steel

Our review

This is a single pasta-serving utensil from Decakila, built around a nylon head with a stainless steel handle. The nylon is BPA-free and rated safe for nonstick cookware, so it will not scratch coated pans the way a bare metal spoon can, and it can go in the dishwasher. The steel handle is there for a firmer grip than an all-plastic server usually gives, which matters when lifting a heavy scoop of spaghetti or tagliatelle out of a pot. It suits anyone cooking pasta regularly in nonstick or enameled cookware, and anyone replacing a scratched plastic server. Before buying, check the 5.8cm head width against the pasta shapes you cook most, since a narrow server handles long strands better than short tubes. Compare it with all-silicone servers, which flex more but can feel floppy, and with stainless steel versions, which grip well but risk marking nonstick surfaces. If you want one tool that covers draining and plating without harming your pans, this sits in a sensible middle ground. Available on Sokonia.
