Ariston 60cm Gas Hob with 4 Burners — PCN 642 T/IXA Stainless Steel

Our review

This is a four-burner gas hob from Ariston, built at 60cm wide with a stainless steel finish and mechanical controls. Each burner uses an electromagnetic safety device, which shuts off the gas supply if a flame is accidentally extinguished — a useful feature in households with children or in kitchens where windows create draughts. It suits anyone fitting a standard 60cm cut-out, whether replacing an old hob or specifying a new kitchen, and the four-burner layout covers everyday pots alongside a larger pan. Before buying, confirm your countertop cut-out and that a gas supply point is already in place, since installation is a job for a qualified gas fitter. Compare it with other 60cm gas hobs on burner count, safety devices and control type; stainless steel also shows marks more than glass, so weigh that against its durability. Available on Sokonia.
