Tronic Twin Waterproof Socket 13Amps TP Range
TSh 60,000
Our review
This is a vertically mounted twin power outlet from Tronic's TP range, rated at 13 amps. Its defining feature is the cover, which closes completely over the sockets, and the outlet can carry an IP66 rating, meaning it is built to resist water jets and dust intrusion. That combination makes it a sensible choice for outdoor walls, workshops, garages, laundries, or any spot where splashes and grit are part of daily life rather than a rare accident.
Before buying, confirm the mounting orientation suits your wall, since the design is vertical, and check that your wiring and back box match a 13 amp outlet. Also decide whether you need the IP66 protection at the exact position you have in mind, because a standard indoor socket may be cheaper where no water or dust risk exists. Compare against other covered outdoor sockets on cover sealing, amperage, and whether the cover can close with a plug inserted.
