Tronic Surface Jack Single Line RJ45

Our review

This Tronic item is a single-line surface jack for RJ45 connections, meaning it is a wall-mounted outlet point for one network cable run rather than a multi-port panel. It suits anyone extending or terminating a data line where the cable has to surface-mount instead of sitting flush in a box, such as along skirting, inside a cabinet, or in a room where cutting into the wall is not practical. The listing gives no wiring standard, so before buying confirm whether your installation follows T568A or T568B and whether the jack matches it. Also check the cable category you are running and the mounting surface, since the summary describes an isolator switch for de-energizing circuits, which is a different function from a network jack, so treat the description with care and verify what you are actually ordering. Compare against a keystone jack plus faceplate, which is more flexible if you may change connectors later, and against a full patch panel if you need several lines in one place. If you only need one clean termination point, a single surface jack keeps the job simple. Available on Sokonia.
