Tronic Surface Downlight Round 24W Daylight LED

Our review

This Tronic surface downlight is a round, 24-watt LED fixture that mounts directly to the ceiling rather than recessing into it, and it produces a daylight-toned light. That combination suits rooms where you want bright, even illumination without cutting into the ceiling: rental flats, shops, offices, corridors, or any space where a surface mount is simpler to install. Because it is a downlight, the light is directed downward, so it works best as general or task lighting rather than as a decorative centrepiece. Before buying, check the diameter of the fitting against the spot you have in mind, and confirm the daylight colour temperature suits the room, since daylight reads cooler and whiter than warm white. Compare it with recessed downlights if you can cut into the ceiling, and with lower-wattage options if 24 watts is more than the space needs. It is available on Sokonia.
