Tronic Solar Wall Light 2V/0.33W IP44 3000K

Our review

This Tronic wall light is a small solar fixture intended for outdoor walls where running mains cable is awkward or unwanted. Its 2V/0.33W panel charges during daylight and the light runs without wiring, so it suits gates, garden walls, sheds, and rented properties where you would rather not involve an electrician. The 3000K colour temperature is on the warm side, closer to a household bulb than the stark white of many security lights, which makes it better for ambient evening light than for lighting a large yard. The IP44 rating means it is protected against splashes and rain, but it is not built for full immersion or heavy jets, so position it under a slight overhang if you can. Before buying, think about how much light you actually need and where the panel will sit, since shade for much of the day will limit charging. Compare it with mains-powered wall lights, which give consistent brightness, and with larger solar floodlights, which cover more area but cost more and look more industrial. If you want a modest, warm wall light with no wiring, this is a sensible option available on Sokonia.
