Tronic Single Switch Socket 13Amps With Neon

Our review

This is a single switched socket rated at 13 amps, made by Tronic, with a neon indicator built in. The square-edged face has a smooth, shiny finish, and the fixing screws sit visible on the surface rather than hidden behind a cover. That matters if you like being able to tighten, remove or replace the unit without hunting for concealed clips. It suits anyone wiring or repairing a circuit who wants a straightforward switched outlet for a single appliance point, and the neon gives a quick visual check that the switch is on. Before buying, confirm the mounting box and wiring in your wall match a standard single socket layout, and check the cable rating suits a 13A load. Compared with unswitched sockets, this adds local control; compared with sockets that hide their screws, it trades a cleaner look for easier servicing. Available on Sokonia.
