Tronic Single Floor Socket with 1 Data Port

Our review

This is a single floor socket from Tronic that combines one power outlet with a data port in the same fitting, so a desk or floor position can serve both power and a network connection without a second cutout. The push-button mechanism is rated for more than 5,000 presses, and the surface is described as scratch resistant, with a finish made from brass and aluminum. It suits anyone wiring a home office, shop counter, or study where a laptop and a router or printer sit together. Before buying, confirm the box depth and cutout size your floor or wall can take, check that your wiring method matches the fast-connection terminals, and decide whether you need the data port or would rather keep power and data on separate plates. Compare it with plain single sockets and with double-port floor boxes, since the extra port is the main reason to pick this one. Available on Sokonia.
