Tronic Round Ring Style 9W LED Magnetic Track Light

Our review

This Tronic fixture is a round ring-style LED magnetic track light rated at 9W. Unlike recessed fittings that sit inside a ceiling, it belongs to the magnetic track family, so the light head mounts onto a track rather than being plastered into the ceiling. That makes it a reasonable choice if you want adjustable, surface-mounted lighting or you are working with a ceiling where cutting recesses is difficult or undesirable.
Before buying, confirm the track system you already have or plan to install is compatible with magnetic track heads, because the fitting needs a matching track to attach to. Also check the colour temperature and beam angle you want, since those affect the feel of the room, and decide whether a single head is enough or you need several along one track.
Compared with recessed options, magnetic track lights are easier to reposition and add to later, but they are more visible on the ceiling. The summary for this listing notes that many recessed fixtures are just bulb holders requiring a separate GU10 bulb and connector, so if you are weighing this against those, remember this is a complete LED unit rather than a holder.
