Tronic Round Recessed White GU10 Holder

Our review

This Tronic fitting is a recessed bulb holder that sits flush with a ceiling, the type of fixture that has become standard in modern rooms. It is not a complete light: you get the holder alone, so a GU10 bulb and a bulb connector must be bought separately before anything will work. That makes it best suited to someone already planning a GU10 setup, perhaps replacing a failed holder or finishing a row of downlights, rather than a first-time buyer expecting a ready-to-use lamp. Before ordering, check the cut-out size in your ceiling and confirm your wiring suits a recessed holder, since no dimensions are listed here. Compare it with surface-mounted holders, which are easier to fit where there is no ceiling void, and with complete GU10 fixtures that include the housing and connector. If you already have bulbs and connectors, this keeps things simple. Available on Sokonia.
