Tronic Rectangular Curved Up & Down Warm White 2W Light

Our review

This Tronic fitting is a two-watt light in a rectangular housing with a curved profile, designed to cast warm white light both upward and downward. The diffuser over the shade is the key part: it spreads the beam so you get a soft wash of light rather than a harsh point, which is what gives the fitting its contemporary look and its usefulness as a low-level security light around a doorway or wall. It suits someone who wants a subtle architectural accent rather than bright task lighting, so it works well in pairs along a facade or on either side of an entrance. Before buying, check the mounting surface and how the fitting is wired, since no specifications are listed here, and confirm the Sokonia listing shows what you need. Compare it with plain single-direction wall lights, which are often brighter but harsher, and with larger up-and-down fittings that may overpower a small wall.
