Tronic Recessed Downlight Round 3W Warm White ILU DR03-WH-WW

Our review

This is a round recessed downlight from Tronic, rated at 3 watts and finished in warm white, listed under the model code ILU DR03-WH-WW. Its purpose is straightforward: to sit flush in a ceiling and cast the softer, yellowish light that most people associate with living rooms, bedrooms, corridors and other places where a relaxed mood matters more than brightness. Because it draws only 3 watts, it suits setups where several fittings run at once, such as a row along a hallway or a grid in a lounge ceiling. Before buying, check the cut-out diameter your ceiling already has, since recessed fittings are sized to the hole rather than the visible trim, and confirm the warm white tone is what you want rather than a cooler white. It is also worth comparing against other recessed downlights of similar wattage on brightness, beam spread and whether they are dimmable, none of which is stated here. If you need a small, low-power warm white fitting for a modest space, this one is available on Sokonia.
