Tronic Pop-Up Access Floor Socket with 13A BS and RJ45

Our review

This Tronic unit is a pop-up access socket designed to sit flush in a floor or desk and rise when you need power and data. It carries a 13A BS outlet alongside an RJ45 port, so a laptop, monitor and wired network link can share one discreet point instead of trailing extension leads across the room. It suits anyone planning a workstation, meeting table or home office where outlets in the wall are awkward or already full. The listing mentions mounting feet for floor or desk attachment, plus top and side covers and fastenings, so most of the installation hardware comes in the box. Before ordering, confirm the cut-out size your surface needs, check the depth available beneath it, and decide whether a single 13A outlet and one data port are enough or whether you need a larger combination. Compare with fixed floor boxes, which are cheaper but less tidy, and with plain desk grommets, which carry no wiring at all. Available on Sokonia.
