Tronic Pole Socket 2G Universal with 2 USB and 2 RJ45 Data

Our review

This is a desk or floor-mounted power column rather than a wall plate, so it suits anyone who wants outlets and data ports sitting on the work surface instead of under it. Two universal sockets cover a mix of plug types, while the two USB ports and two RJ45 data points let you charge a phone and run a wired network connection from the same column. It is a reasonable fit for a home office, a reception desk, a study corner or a shared workstation where cables would otherwise trail to a distant wall socket. Before ordering, confirm the socket type matches your plugs, check whether your desk or floor can take the mounting foot, and measure the space you have for a vertical column. Compare it with fixed desk grommets and simple extension leads: those are cheaper but give you no data ports and no proper mounting. Also weigh it against larger columns if you need more than two power outlets. The listing gives no cable length, current rating or warranty details, so ask the seller on Sokonia about those if they matter to your setup.
