Tronic LED Bulb G45 1.5W Red E27

Our review

This is a small, low-wattage LED bulb from Tronic that produces red light rather than white. Its G45 shape is the compact, rounded style often used in decorative fittings, and the E27 base is the common screw fitting found on many household lamps and fixtures, so it should install the same way as an ordinary bulb. Because the light is red, it suits accent and decorative use rather than everyday illumination: think a single lamp used as a colour feature, a fixture in a bar or shop display, or a themed corner of a home. Before buying, check that your fitting takes an E27 base and that a G45-sized bulb fits any shade or enclosure, since a decorative fitting can be tighter than a standard one. It is also worth thinking about what you actually want from the light. If you need general brightness, a white LED is the better choice; if you want a coloured glow, this does that job. Compare it with other coloured LED options on wattage and base type, and confirm the colour and shape match your fixture before ordering. The bulb is available on Sokonia.
