The Tronic Hand Riveter is a manual tool for setting blind rivets, the kind you use when you can only reach one side of the workpiece. You feed a mandrel through the rivet body, squeeze the handles, and the rivet expands and locks the materials together; the mandrel then snaps off and is removed. This suits anyone joining sheet metal, plastic or similar panels where a nut and bolt will not work, including DIY repairs and light fabrication. Before buying, think about the rivet sizes and materials you plan to use, since a hand tool has limits on how much grip it can apply.
