Tronic Grey Twin Switch Socket with USB and Type C

Our review

This Tronic unit is a grey twin switch socket that combines two switched outlets with USB and Type C charging points on one plate. It suits anyone wiring a bedside table, desk or office wall where phones, tablets and laptops need power without a separate adapter plugged in permanently. The smooth edges, shiny surface and neon indicator help it sit neatly in a modern room, while the visible screws make future maintenance simpler because the plate can be opened without hunting for hidden fixings. Before buying, check the mounting box depth and the wiring arrangement you already have, since no specifications are listed here. Compare it with plain double sockets if you rarely charge by USB, or with single-outlet USB plates if you need fewer power points. Available on Sokonia.
