Tronic Grey Pop-Up Desktop Socket Housing

Our review

This is a recessed housing for mounting into a desk, counter or meeting table so that power and data connections can be tucked away when they are not in use. Press the button and the unit rises; press again and it sits flush with the surface. The grey finish is meant to blend into typical office and conference furniture rather than stand out.
It suits anyone planning a fixed workspace where cables would otherwise trail across the tabletop, particularly meeting rooms, reception counters and shared desks. Because the listing gives no dimensions, cut-out size, socket configuration or mounting depth, measure your table thickness and the hole you can cut before ordering, and confirm which outlets the housing accepts. Compare it with fixed flush plates, which are cheaper but always visible, and with cable trays, which hide wires but add no connections.
