Tronic Grey 1 Gang 2 Way Switch, 16A 220-240V, 90x90mm Bakelite

Our review

This is a single-gang, two-way switch from Tronic, finished in grey and built from bakelite. Two-way means it works in pairs: you can control one light from two positions, such as at the top and bottom of a staircase or at both doors of a room. The 16A rating at 220-240V suits typical Tanzanian mains circuits, and the 90mm by 90mm face matches common wall box sizes. Before buying, confirm your wiring already supports two-way switching, since a one-way circuit will not use the second terminal. Also check the box depth and whether you want grey to match existing fittings. Compare with one-way switches if you only need control from a single point, and with other finishes if grey clashes with your plates. A one-year warranty applies.
