This is a low-wattage LED bulb from Tronic with a standard E27 screw base, rated at 2 watts. Because it draws so little power, it suits fittings where light is needed for long stretches rather than for brightness: night lights, hallway or stairwell points, store cupboard and toilet lights, or a lamp you leave on in the evening. The main thing to check before buying is the fitting itself, since E27 is the wider screw base and will not fit small bayonet or E14 sockets, and then whether 2 watts gives enough light for the spot you have in mind. Compared with incandescent bulbs, an LED like this uses at least 75% less energy, and it also outlasts fluorescent lighting by roughly two to five times, which matters most in fittings that are awkward to reach. If you need a bright room light, look at higher-wattage LEDs instead; if you want a cheap-to-run bulb for a socket that stays on, this one is worth considering. Available on Sokonia.
