Tronic Gold 1-Gang Intermediate Switch, Screwless Polycarbonate Plate
TSh 15,500
Our review
This is a single-gang intermediate switch from Tronic, finished in gold with a screwless front and smooth, rounded edges. An intermediate switch is the part that lets a light be controlled from three or more positions, so it is the one you add alongside two-way switches on a staircase, a long corridor, or a room with several doorways. It suits anyone planning that kind of circuit, and the gold faceplate is aimed at interiors where brass or warm-toned fittings are already in use.
Before ordering, confirm your wiring is genuinely intermediate rather than two-way, since the two are not interchangeable. Also check the wall box depth and the plate dimensions against your existing fitting, and decide whether a screwless gold finish matches the other switches in the room. Compare it with white plastic or metal-clad alternatives on finish and plate material, and note that no electrical ratings are listed here, so verify those with the seller on Sokonia.
