Tronic Glossy White 2 Gang 2 Way Switch, 16A 220-240V

Our review

This is a white two-gang, two-way switch from Tronic, rated at 16 amps and 220 to 240 volts AC. The faceplate is 90mm square with smooth edges, and the body is made of Bakelite. Because it is two-way, it can be used where a light needs to be controlled from two positions, such as at the top and bottom of a staircase or at two doors into the same room. Two gangs mean two separate circuits on one plate, useful in a hallway or open-plan space where you want fewer switches on the wall. Before buying, check the depth of your mounting box and confirm your wiring suits a two-way circuit, since a two-way switch can also be used as a one-way but not the reverse. Compare it with other 16A white switches on faceplate size, material and finish if you are matching existing fittings, and note the one-year warranty.
