Tronic Earth Mat 300X300 Grounding Mat

Our review

The Tronic Earth Mat 300X300 is a grounding mat, sometimes called an earthing mat, made to bring the earth connection indoors. Rather than driving a rod into the ground, it links to the earth through a conductor placed in the ground port of an electrical outlet. Tronic describes its role as limiting ground potential and guarding against faulty current.
It suits someone who wants a grounded surface at a desk, bedside or chair without outdoor installation. Before buying, confirm your outlet actually has a working ground port, since the mat depends on that path, and think about whether the 300x300 size covers the area you use. Compare with larger mats if you want more surface, and with grounding rods or straps if your goal is different. The listing gives no further specifications, so check the conductor and connection details on Sokonia before ordering.
