Tronic DP Metal Clad 20A Switch
TSh 20,500
Our review
This Tronic switch is a double-pole, metal-clad unit rated at 20A, built for installations where the switch itself needs physical protection rather than sitting behind a plastic plate. The housing is thick-gauge steel with an epoxy powder coating, so it resists scratches and stands up better than a bare plastic enclosure in workshops, back-of-house areas, or any spot where it might get knocked. Tronic rates it for inductive loads of 13A, which matters if you are switching motors, pumps, or similar equipment rather than simple lighting circuits. The terminals are colour-coded and the captive screws are backed out, which speeds up wiring and reduces the chance of losing a screw during installation. Before buying, confirm your circuit's current and load type, and check that a metal-clad enclosure suits the location. Compare it with other metal-clad switches on enclosure material, terminal layout, and whether the current rating matches your inductive load. Available on Sokonia.
