Tronic LED Downlighter, 7W, Daylight White

Our review

This Tronic downlighter is a recessed LED fixture rated at 7 watts, finished in white and described as producing daylight white light. That combination suits utility areas where clear, neutral illumination matters more than a warm, cosy glow: corridors, kitchens, bathrooms, stairwells, small offices or shop back rooms. Because the light leans cool and bright rather than yellow, it is less flattering in bedrooms or living rooms where you want a softer evening atmosphere. Before buying, check the ceiling cut-out size and depth your ceiling can take, since recessed fittings must physically fit the hole and void. Also confirm the colour temperature suits the room, and whether you need several units to light a space evenly rather than one bright point. Compared with other 7W downlights, the practical differences usually come down to beam angle, finish and whether the fitting is fixed or adjustable, so weigh those against your ceiling and layout.
