Tronic 45A Cooker Control Unit with Switch Socket, White

Our review

This is a Tronic cooker control unit rated at 45A, finished in white with a slim profile, smooth edges and a shiny surface, plus a neon indicator on the front. Rather than running a cooking appliance through an ordinary plug and socket, it gives you a dedicated wall point for the cooker circuit, which is the usual approach for larger built-in ovens and ranges. It suits anyone wiring or rewiring a kitchen who wants the appliance connection to look deliberate and sit flush with modern fittings. Before buying, confirm your circuit and cable rating match a 45A unit, check the back box depth and mounting centres your wall or cabinet allows, and decide whether you need the socket outlet that this version includes or a plainer switch-only plate. Compare against other cooker control units on finish, indicator type and whether a socket is present, since those are the differences that matter day to day. Available on Sokonia.
