Tronic Frosted Filament LED Bulb 4W Warm White E14

Our review

This is a small, low-wattage LED bulb from Tronic with a frosted glass finish and a filament-style look. It produces warm white light and uses an E14 small screw base, so it fits compact lamps, bedside lights, wall sconces and decorative fixtures rather than standard ceiling pendants. The frosted glass is the main point of difference: it softens the output so you are not looking straight into a bright point source, which makes it a sensible pick for reading lamps or anywhere the bulb sits at eye level. At 4 watts it is intended for accent and ambient use, not for lighting a whole room. Before buying, check your fitting is E14 and not the larger E27, and think about whether you want a frosted or clear bulb, since clear filament bulbs give a sharper, more decorative sparkle while frosted ones give gentler light. Also compare colour temperature if you prefer cooler white. Available on Sokonia.
