Tronic Black Door Bell, 120x190x50mm, AC 220-240V

Our review

This is a mains-powered wired doorbell from Tronic, finished in black and sized at 120x190x50mm. Because it runs on AC 220-240V rather than batteries, it suits homeowners, landlords and small offices that already have a doorbell circuit or can have one wired in by an electrician. The compact footprint makes it easy to mount on most wall surfaces, though you should confirm your wall type and the position of existing wiring before ordering. Check whether your chime, push button and transformer setup matches a 220-240V supply, since mismatched voltage is the most common installation problem. Compared with wireless doorbells, a wired unit like this avoids battery changes but depends on cabling, so weigh that against your building. If you are replacing an old unit, measure the old one and compare the 120x190x50mm dimensions to avoid patching walls. Available on Sokonia.
