This Tronic adaptor, model AD 1024, changes a C14 male inlet into a C5 female coupler. In plain terms, it lets a device with a cloverleaf-style C5 power socket run from a standard C14 outlet or lead, which is common with laptop power bricks, some monitors, projectors and small appliances. It is a passive connector, not a voltage converter, so it simply passes power through. The body is fireproof ABS with copper contacts, and it is rated for 10A at 100–250V, which covers most everyday electronics. Before ordering, confirm your device actually uses a C5 socket and that its current draw stays within that 10A limit.
