Tronic AB Male USB 3.1 10Gbps Cable, 3 Metres
TSh 4,500
Our review
This is a three-metre USB 3.1 cable with male A and male B connectors, rated for the 10Gbps SuperSpeed option. The specification uses more effective data encoding than earlier SuperSpeed USB, which is how it delivers more than twice the effective data throughput, and it remains fully backward compatible with USB ports and cables. The length suits setups where a printer, scanner, external drive enclosure or audio interface sits some distance from the computer. Before buying, confirm your device actually has a USB-B port and that it benefits from 10Gbps; many older peripherals run at 5Gbps and will not gain anything. Compare cable gauge and shielding, since long passive runs can affect signal integrity, and check connector orientation. It is available on Sokonia.
