Tronic 5 Way Extension Socket, 20A 220-240V, White

Our review

This is a five way extension socket from Tronic, rated at 20A on AC 220-240V and finished in white. The body measures roughly 90mm by 90mm and is made of plastic, and it comes assembled with a one year warranty. The 20A rating is the detail worth pausing on, because it is higher than the 13A you see on most household extension leads, so it suits buyers running heavier loads such as a water heater, iron, or kitchen appliance rather than a desk of small electronics. Before buying, check the plug type and socket layout you actually need, confirm the total current of everything you plan to connect stays within 20A, and think about whether five outlets in a 90mm square body will be crowded once bulky adapters are plugged in. Compare it with surge-protected strips if you are protecting computers, and with longer leads if reach is your main problem. Available on Sokonia.
