Tronic 1 Gang 2 Way Switch in Black

Our review

This is a single-gang, two-way switch from Tronic, finished in black. Two-way means the same lighting circuit can be operated from two separate positions, which is why it is commonly chosen for staircases, hallways, bedrooms with two entrances, and larger rooms where one switch alone would be awkward. The black finish is the other selling point: it reads as a deliberate design choice rather than a default white plate, so it tends to suit contemporary interiors, offices, and commercial spaces where the fittings are meant to be noticed. Before buying, confirm the wiring arrangement at your installation actually supports two-way control, since a two-way switch is not a drop-in replacement for a one-way circuit without the right cabling. Also check the plate size and fixing centres against your existing box, and decide whether the black finish matches the other switches and sockets in the same room. Compared with a standard one-way switch, this costs more and does more; compared with other two-way switches, the difference is mainly the finish and the brand. No specifications are listed, so verify compatibility with your electrician first. Available on Sokonia.
