This is a 100-metre reel of 0.5mm two-core twisted flexible cable from Tronic, with red and black PVC-insulated cores and a copper conductor rated at 99.9% purity. It is made in Tanzania. Because the conductors are stranded rather than solid, the cable stays flexible, which suits short runs inside appliances, control panels, lighting circuits and low-power equipment where the cable needs to bend around corners or fit into tight enclosures. The 0.5mm size points to light-duty work, so it is not the right pick for high-current circuits such as mains sockets, water heaters or heavy machinery. Before ordering, confirm the current rating your circuit needs and check that 0.5mm cross-section is acceptable for it; if you are unsure, ask a qualified electrician. Also compare against single-core house wiring cable, which is stiffer and intended for fixed installation in conduit, and against larger two-core sizes if your load is heavier.
