This is a 32cm frying pan from Tefal's Unlimited range, made in France from aluminium with a titanium nonstick coating. Tefal describes that coating as its best anti-scratch nonstick, based on internal abrasion testing against its other nonstick coatings, so it is aimed at cooks who use metal utensils and want a surface that holds up to daily wear. The built-in heat indicator, which Tefal calls a thermo signal, is there to show when the pan has reached the right temperature. The 32cm size suits larger households or anyone cooking several portions at once, though on a small hob it will take up most of the ring. It works on induction as well as other hob types. Before buying, check the pan's weight and handle feel if you can, since a wide aluminium pan can be heavy when full, and confirm the base diameter fits your hob and cupboard space.
