Ocean Metropolitan 6-Piece Beer Tumbler Set, 330ml, Model 3B2131206G0003

Our review

This is a six-piece set of Ocean Metropolitan beer tumblers, each holding 330ml, or 12 ounces. The design departs from the usual straight-sided beer glass: the lines are clean and modern, and the top flares slightly, which suits serving premium beer in an urban setting. The measurements are a top diameter of 71mm, base diameter of 58mm, middle diameter of 71mm, and a height of 162mm, so they are moderately tall and should sit comfortably in most hands. They suit someone setting up a home bar, hosting guests who drink beer, or replacing mismatched glasses with a consistent set of six. Before buying, check that 330ml matches the bottles or cans you usually pour, since a full pour plus head can need a little more room than the stated capacity. Compare against standard pint or nonic glasses if you want larger servings, and against tulip or snifter shapes if aroma matters more to you than the clean Metropolitan look. Available on Sokonia.
