Nikai 16-Inch Pedestal Fan with Remote, 45W Copper Motor, Model NPF1634RT

Our review

This Nikai pedestal fan is a floor-standing model with a 16-inch grill, a remote control, and a 45-watt copper motor. It offers three speeds, low, medium and high, plus a timer that runs up to 7.5 hours, so you can set it to switch off after you fall asleep. The white finish and slim grill are meant to sit quietly in a living room rather than look purely functional.
It suits someone who wants adjustable height and a remote within reach of a bed or sofa, and who values a timer over smart features. Before buying, check the height range and assembly requirements, since none are listed here, and confirm the remote battery type. Compared with basic wall or table fans, you are paying for reach, speed choice and the timer; compared with tower fans, a pedestal model like this generally moves air over a wider area.
