Our review
This is a round aluminium cooking pan from Nadstar, listed as the Prant 19 NO24. The numbers describe its shape rather than its volume: 22.5cm across the top, 19cm across the base, 4cm deep, and 2.1kg in weight. That shallow, wide profile suits everyday frying, reheating, and quick sauces more than slow braising, and the weight suggests a fairly solid gauge rather than a thin, flimsy sheet. It would suit a home cook who wants one dependable pan for daily stovetop work and does not need a lid or non-stick coating. Before buying, check that the 19cm base sits securely on your burner or hotplate, and confirm the handle material and fit, since those details are not given here. Compare it with similar aluminium pans by looking at base thickness, handle riveting, and whether the stated diameters match what you already own. Aluminium heats quickly and evenly but reacts with acidic foods, so consider how you plan to use it. Available on Sokonia.
